The garden of Eden Cover Image Book Book

The garden of Eden

Summary: A story of love and obsession, The Garden of Eden is about a young American writer and his wife on an extended honeymoon in Mediterranean France and Spain, and the woman to whom they are bok attracted. As the book opens, David Bourne has begun to receive letters form his publisher, enclosing very good notices for his second novel. He is eager to begin writing again, but after all he is on his honeymoon. Catherine, his wife - willowy, bleached the palest blonde possible and sporting the darkest tan David has ever seen - encourages him to write but in fact resents the separation. The temptations she places before him culminate in a liaison with another, even younger and more sensual woman, and in a dangerous, erotic game for the three of them to play.
