Anthology comic Warrior (in 1982) revived the series as Marvelman (and later to avoid conflict with Marvel Comics) as Miracleman both written by Alan Moore (16 issues) and in the 1990s by Neil Gaiman (9 issues). When Miracleman was to be reprinted by Marvel Comics, Alan Moore requested that his name not be used, insteading preferring to be credited as "the original writer".
